We’ve got a couple pieces of news to share with you. Pokey and the band have wrapped up recording the new album — which will be entitled Manic Revelations and it will be released on Rounder Records later this spring! Pokey maybe even leaked a bit of a new song on Instagram.
Speaking of new songs, I bet you’ll be able to hear one or two of them when the band hits the road in a couple of weeks for some winter tour dates in the Midwest US.

We’ve got some exciting news to share with you all.
Pokey and the band will be playing two very special nights at Saint Louis’ brand new Delmar Hall presented by our friends at KDHX on December 30th and 31st. Both of these shows will be opened up by friend Jack Grelle and is open to folks of ALL AGES!
Expect special guests and brand new tunes!
Winter is just around the corner, and just because Pokey and the band have been locked in the studio this fall doesn’t mean you’ll need to wait until spring for them to get back out on the road.
There’s a couple of very special shows we had previously announced — it’s a **New Year’s Doubleheader** at a new venue in Saint Louis called Delmar Hall. The band will be playing with Jack Grelle and there might be a few surprises in store.
Aside from the New Years party there are some dates in February which you can find at the bottom of this email.
The band’s still working on the new album, but you can bet they’ll be playing some of these new tunes at all of these upcoming tour dates.
As the summer fades into autumn, Pokey and the band only have a small handful of festival shows left this year — one of those dates is the Minnesota State Fair. If you’re one of the lucky folks who can make it to the MN State Fair, the band plays at 3:30pm and 4:45pm both tomorrow & Thursday at the Leinie Lodge Bandshell (the performances are free once you’ve paid admission for the fair).
Speaking of free shows, the band will also be playing another free show in beautiful Muncie, IN this Friday at the Three Trails Music Series. Get yourself more information here.
Don’t be too disappointed by the sparse fall schedule though – I bet that there will be at least one more show to announce before the year ends.
With so few shows on the schedule, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the band will be heading into the studio this fall, with the hopes of releasing their follow up to ‘Something In The Water’ in 2017 via Rounder Records.
With all of this talk about new music, I almost forgot to mention that our humble gift shop has turned into a proper online store featuring not only CDs and vinyl, but also some new garments (including a design we haven’t been selling on the road).
That’s all for now!

We’ll be joined at all the club/theater shows with The Cactus Blossoms
